I am skeptical of places I eat. I walked in sat down and enjoyed a great Cheese Pizza. I ordered garlic knots which were garlicky the way they are suppose to be. Now at first when the Zeppolis came out I was dissapointed because of the Chocolate Drizzle. But WOW amazing. So if you are ever in the Mount Arlington area in Jersey. Stop on by and enjoy a great lunch or Excellent Dinner.
Decent is the right word for this place. Their great on the phone and very friendly but I don't exactly get what I ask for.. I like my cheese steak only steak and cheese.. that's what I ask for and they even repeat it to me and they give me a cheese steak with steak cheese and marinara or some type of tomato sauce in it. It's not bad but it's not what I ask for. I've order 3 times. Same exact thing and put tomato sauce in it every time. If that's like your thing to do with cheese steaks you guys need to stop. Maybe suggest it but don't just put it in. That's my only issue. I asked for a Hawaiian slice one time and they told me they don't have any Hawaiian made. Just take a plain slice and put some ham and pineapple on it or take it off your menu. I gave it 3 tries. Not the worst pizzeria in the area but far from the best. I will not be ordering from here again.
He told me it would take about 45 min., so after one hour I called and they said it was on the way. It showed up at the 1 hr 40 minute mark; and it was cold. All the delivery person could say was, "sorry, I had other deliveries". The mozzarella quality was poor; very salty. Very sad, because it started out good, but will never order there again.
Second time ordering.. I only ordered from here because I received a good coupon in the mail. First time I order I got one large plain pie, and one pepper and onion. The pizzas came pretty fast and the driver was super nice. I gave him a good tip for being so friendly and very fast at the delivery. However, the plain pizza was very poor. Super soft bland watered down crust and bread, the cheese was melted but tasted strange. The pepper and onion pizza I ordered was all the first pie was plus hard to chew peppers. The onions where huge slices so difficult to eat . When trying to find a place to eat this evening , we normally order from Anthony Francos, but decided that’s the coupon pizza express gave us was a better deal and cheaper, well this time we order the plain pie, and it was the same, also ordered to subs with cheese, it was more like two loafs of cut bread stuffed with lettese and like two slices of turkey. There was nothing to it. Very disappointed. I order subs from every pizza place And never had such poor quality. From this meal forward, my Sunday pizza day will only be coming from Anthony Francos and not pizza express.
This was my first time trying Pizza Express - heard about it from the flyer I received in the mail. The person who took the order over the phone was very good; cordial and he repeated the order back to me to ensure it was correct. Excellent customer service experience there.
Quick delivery which is a plus, but stay far away from the buffalo chicken. Its not that love the hot buffalo taste, but rather a vinegar way too much Frank's hot.My wrap totally ruined by this unforgettable mishap with the Frank's bottle. Starving and annoyed :(
